Abstract:
An organisation needs efficient leaders in times of crisis to manage the organisation and provide support like a pillar. The BBC was responsive to crisis prone management and took steps to develop the leadership potential of BBC managers for the present and future. The BBC had attempted to develop the essential qualities of leadership when the need for new ways of leadership was felt throughout the organisation. The BBC had introduced The BBC Leadership Programme (LDP) for their managers. It provided BBC with a chance to invest in and develop their people. The programme was structured for BBC managers belonging to various levels in the organisation. The programme encouraged BBC managers helping them to change for the better.
